Q. How long have you been bartending at the UPT?
Rachael: Been serving yummy drinks and food at UPT for about 2 years now.
Q. What do you love about bartending?
Rachael: I enjoy bartending here at UPT particularly because we really aim to please. We have a crew that will crack you up, all sorts of local art and entertainment, a tight knit community of amazing patrons and a gorgeous beer garden to enjoy it all in.
Q. What was the best band you’ve seen at the UPT so far?
Rachael: Yves Francois played in the garden last summer… it was sprinkling so they played their 20’s street jazz under the tree in a circle and it was simply magical.
Q. What do you love about Downtown Kenosha?
Rachael: Downtown Kenosha has been a budding mecca for artistic expression, camaraderie and connections that can change your life!
Q. What is your favorite cocktail to make? Rachael: Herbal elixirs and custom concoctions are my specialty. Tummy ache? I got you. Social anxiety? I can help. Counting calories? No problem.
Q. Tell us your best bar joke? Rachael: I was going to tell you a joke about our pizza but it’s too cheesy.
Q. Favorite meal at the UPT?
Rachael: We have stuffed French toast here and flavors of the week are always scrumptious! My favorite so far was pineapple upside down cake with whipped cream.
Q. What is your favorite drink? Rachael: Peanut butter Irish coffees melt my heart.
