Gwen Stefani denies engagement rumors
Dec. 5 (UPI) — Gwen Stefani says she’s not engaged to her boyfriend, country star Blake Shelton. The 49-year-old singer discussed Shelton on Tuesday’s episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show after host Ellen DeGeneres jokingly said the couple plan to marry. “So, Blake told me y’all are engaged now,” DeGeneres bluffed. “Yes, he told me you’re engaged, so let’s talk about that.” “No, we’re not!” Stefani responded. “What are you talking about? We’re not. We’re not engaged. We’re not married. And he’s my boyfriend… still.” Stefani couldn’t help but gush about Shelton, who was succeeded by actor Idris Elba as People’s Sexiest Man Alive this year. “Honestly, he got sexier,” she said of Shelton losing the title. DeGeneres kept pushing the “You Make It Feel Like Christmas” singer, asking if Shelton got better in bed once Elba was named Sexiest Man Alive. “Oh my God!” Stefani responded before telling the... ‘Marvelous Mrs. Maisel’ Season 2 debuts today on Amazon
Dec. 5 (UPI) — Whether Michael Zegen’s Marvelous Mrs. Maisel character Joel is likable and should win back his estranged wife Midge depends on who you ask. “He was a jerk and he did some things he shouldn’t have done, so I understand why people wouldn’t be rooting for them,” Zegen, 39, told UPI in a recent phone interview. Set in 1950s New York, the Emmy-winning comedy wrapped up its first season on Amazon with Joel discovering Rachel Brosnahan’s Midge — the polished and pampered wife he left for another woman — has become the successful stand-up comedian he always wanted to be. Season 2 debuts Wednesday, December 5th and finds Joel unemployed and living back home with his parents Shirley and Moishe, played by Caroline Aaron and Kevin Pollak. “The audience caught Joel at the worst moment of his life,” Zegen said. “Now, he’s just trying to find something...
