Star Wars Celebration Debuts New Teaser For “The Last Jedi”
April 14 (UPI) — Starting at 11 a.m. EST, Star Wars Celebration in Orlando continues with a special panel dedicated to the next film in the Star Wars saga, The Last Jedi. Set to feature appearances from writer-director Rian Johnson and Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy along with a number of surprise guests, the panel is expected to debut the first footage of The Last Jedi. Also broadcasting live Friday is a special tribute to Carrie Fisher from Mark Hamill starting at 5:30 p.m. EST. Star Wars Celebration hosted a special star-studded panel Thursday to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Star Wars: A New Hope which opened in theaters in May of 1977.
